Online holiday spending rose 5 percent to $27 billion during the holiday season, according to market researcher comScore.

AOL in talks to sell ICQ to DST; Bebo also on the block

AOL is in talks to sell off its ICQ instant-messenger service to Russian investment group Digital Sky Technologies, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
