Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 due in Q4 2009

Not wanting to be outdone by Nokia’s recent Xseries unveiling, Sony Ericsson has finally made their XPERIA X2 official already.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2

This QWERTY-equipped touchscreen slider still follows the traditional form factor of the XPERIA X1, but ups the ante with a larger 3.5-inch OLED display, 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera, GPS/A-GPS, Google Maps, DNLA support, TV out functionality, 512MB RAM, and Windows Mobile 6.5 as its mobile OS. In addition to that, it will ship with a 4GB microSD card and a TV cable as part of the standard package as well. Its price is still yet to be known, but it was revealed that the XPERIA X2 will be launched in select markets across the globe in Q4 2009.

A WCDMA 850/1900/2100MHz variant is also reported to be in the works though it’s still not clear when it will be released. So, like what you’re seeing and reading so far? Hit us up after the break for a couple of videos of Sony Ericsson execs talking about their latest XPERIA phone.
