Intel has released the technical specs for its Pine Trail Atom processors such as Atom N450, Atom D410 and D510. While the Atom N450 is meant for use in netbooks, the other two are desktop processors.

Here are the highlights.

The Atom N450 is a 64-bit processor. As a result of this you will be able to run the 64-bit version of Windows 7 on a netbook powered by this processor. The Atom N270 and N280 weren’t 64-bit chips.

The Pine Trail Atom processors integrate memory, graphics and processor functions onto a single chip, but the package size is exactly the same as that of earlier chips.

The integrated GMA 3150 graphics core doesn’t support hardware video acceleration.
The Pine Trail Atom processors are designed to be 20% more power efficient than the Atom N270/N280 processors. These processors, however, offer little or no performance boost.
